Big Announcements for Teresa Sweet Photography ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Child Photographer

So many of you who follow my work have known of my recent business changes.  To refresh your memory, I’ve decided to drastically cut back the weddings that I book due to how crazy busy the portrait side of my business has been.  My newborn clientele has been skyrocketing, as well as my small families…and at this point in my business, I feel this is the path I need to take.

I will only be photographing weddings for referrals from past/current clients, friends & family.   For future inquiries that I receive, I will gladly help the couples out by referring them to some local wedding photographers that I network with, whom I greatly trust to photograph their day.  In addition, I will happily assist local photographers with their weddings if they need an assistant but for my business, I am switching my focus to maternity, newborns & families (and all the fun in-between milestones). 

The portrait side of my business has greatly increased over the last few years and my heart belongs with portraits, especially my newborns. Focusing on portraits will also allow me to accommodate more sessions throughout the year, especially in the summer and fall which is the busiest times for weddings.

I’m so very blessed to have had the honor to photograph so many weddings and I honestly cherish each and every one of you that I’ve photographed.  Many have become very good friends. Because of you, my business has grown so much and words cannot describe how thankful I am. I really look forward to being your family photographer in years to come.

IN ADDITION, there are many changes to come with my business.  The BIGGEST one, and the most exciting, is that sometime in the near future, I will be moving into a studio!  We will be looking into many options (storefronts, studios in a mill building, plazas, etc) and once we find the right fit for my business, I’ll be sure to let everyone know!  We are SO THRILLED with this new adventure that I simply cannot wait to move into a space and to provide even more of an amazing experience for you all and to future clients and families.
