The *C* Family ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

The C family came to visit me over the weekend and I had SO much fun with them!  I got some great ones of Mr. *J* and his older brother, Mr. *B*.  But for those, I’ll save for the family gallery. 😉  I love taking the time at the beginning of the session to play with the little ones so they can really warm up to me, especially if they are shy.  After a short time, Mr. *B* was a ball full of giggles and I seriously could have played with him all day long.    And his baby brother, he was just sweet as could be!

Here are a couple of my favorites from the session.

SnapKnot Camera Giveaway!

SnapKnot, which is a fantastic website that helps brides find photographers for their special day, is giving away a camera!!  How awesome would it be to add one of these amazing camera bodies to my equipment?!  Whoever wins this giveaway and opportunity is one lucky person but as much as I would like to win it for myself, I want to share the opportunity with you.

So a BIG thanks to the SnapKnot wedding photography directory for offering this great camera giveaway!

I’ll be stalking the SnapKnot page on July 19th to see who the winner is! 😉

Red Riding Hood Inspired Session ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

I apologize for the “crickets” on this blog…it’s been a while since I’ve written but I assure you, things have been crazy as ever.  I recently had a boudoir marathon along with another fellow friend/photographer and it was a HUGE success!    It went so well that we’ll be planning another one this October!  So I’ve been busy editing and designing those sessions. 🙂

Also, this past weekend, I photographed another one of my Once Upon A Time Fairytale Inspired sessions.  I love absolutely everything to do with Fairytales and began a little over a year ago, photographing and planning a bunch of them.  Many more are being planned for the near future but this past weekend, I photographed Red Riding Hood and The Wolf.  I have to thank Kristin Greene of Salon KG (http://www.salonkg.com) for providing me with AMAZING hair & makeup.   I love working with Kristin and her team because whenever I have a vision, she knows exactly how to make it come alive and it’s always perfect!

My models were dear friends of ours, Tracey & Joe.  And the cape was made by KristenKreates (http://www.etsy.com/people/kristenkreates?ref=owner_profile_leftnav).  Another local friend and mom.

Here are many of my favorites from the session.  Feel free to leave them some blog love in the comments. 😉

Who’s Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf?

Now….off to plan the next Fairytale…. 🙂

Miss *S* ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Miss *S*’s mom & dad for their maternity and newborn photos.  Since then, we’ve become friends and have kept in touch and how I was thrilled when they contacted me for Miss *S*’s first year session!  I couldn’t believe how much she has grown!

Andrea & Daryl, thank you SO very much for traveling all this way to come visit me and allowing me to photograph your beautiful family again. 🙂  I promise I’ll make the trip up to you.  It will be a great excuse to visit NH!

Here are a few of my many favorites from the session:

Miss *R*’s 6 Month Session ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

Miss R may look familiar, as she is one of many little ones on the Baby Plan that I offer.  Miss R’s mom is a friend of mine that I’ve known for quite some time and it’s so nice to be able to catch up with her while I get to play….I mean, photograph….her daughter. 😉  It’s very easy to see how much the camera adores Miss R.  She is just as sweet as can be!

This past weekend was full of little girls for sessions (ok, with one little man too). 😉  So I had a great opportunity to try out the new backdrop I made.  This backdrop is now one of my all time favorites to use.  I have to think of something similar for boys…this photographs so beautifully.  Love how girly it is!

Here are a few of my faves from her session…oh man, were they hard to choose!!!
