Newport, Rhode Island was the location for my latest wedding.  Cheryl & Brian had a PERFECT day.  Everything from the weather, to the location, all the little details and such a fun, exciting group of friends and family to share the day with them.  They were such a laid back couple and as sweet as can be.

A few months ago, the Rhody Mamas held a giveaway contest that included a bunch of great prizes.  One being, a portrait session from me.  I was excited to see all the entries but I was thrilled to find out once they selected a winner via Random.org, that the winner was a friend (and neighbor) of mine! 

So the other day, we headed out and tried to beat the rain and we made it just in time!  The boys were so much fun to play with and photograph.  And Mom did a pretty great job on picking the outfits, huh? 😉  I love it when everyone coordinates so well!

I always forget how pretty Colt State Park is in Bristol.  I should photograph more sessions there.  It’s such a lovely spot!  So I was excited when this adorable couple booked their session a couple of months ago with their playful “furbaby”.  How cute is he?!  I had SO much fun playing with him (I’d spell his name but I’m sure I’d butcher it. lol).  I got such a kick out of how much he loved his tennis ball (and to think that he brought it right back to me to throw it again…man, I wished my dog played like that.  My dog is lazy. haha!)  This guy ran around the water, splashed, swam…he was a real ham for me!

Jill & Paul, it was GREAT to finally meet you!  I cannot wait for the big family session in a couple of months to meet the rest of your family.  I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!
