There’s No Place Like Home ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

From the first day of meeting Colleen & Justin, I was SO excited about their wedding day and was even more thrilled when they selected me as their photographer for their special day.  Colleen & I kept in close contact since booking with their engagement session, chit chatting about details and ideas and all the great things that come into play with wedding planning & photography.

The more we chatted, the more we found out how much we had in common and I couldn’t BELIEVE what Colleen was going to wear on her wedding day!  I just about fell over.  She’s a girl after my own heart. lol

Colleen & Justin’s wedding day honestly could not have been more perfect.  From how calm and relaxed everyone was, to the GORGEOUS weather and just the overall great atmosphere of the entire day.  This is one day to remember for anyone that witnessed this beautiful day.

Colleen & Justin…thank you SO very much for choosing me as your wedding photographer.  I am so blessed to have been a part of capturing your day for you and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the two of you. 🙂

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Miss *T*’s Newborn session ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

It was great to see the *D* Family again.  We had such a beautiful maternity session weeks ago and I couldn’t wait to meet their daughter once she was born.  I was excited to hear that they would be coming into the studio at the end of last week.  How tiny she was!!  She was so alert and so strong…and I loved every minute that I was photographing her.

Miss *T*’s mom & dad are such great sports for their patience and I hope you had as much fun as I did!  😉  Here’s a few of my fave from the session:

“Babies are such a nice way to start people” (Miss J’s Newborn Session)~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

Babies make the world go round. 🙂  I swear, if I could photograph newborns all day long…I would.  Sure, for the most part, they are the hardest to photograph but for Miss *J*’s session…that was not the case.  I told her momma that she had bragging rights because her session only lasted one & a half hours and Miss *J* slept almost the entire time she was here.  I could have snuggled and photographed her all day long.

It was great to see Jessica again, as I’ve photographed her family before as well as her other two boys’ newborn sessions and I cannot wait to see them again in the future for their next family session to see how they’ve grown. 😉  I hear they are amazing big brothers!  It’s killing me not to share every single photo from this session but I really narrowed it down to my faves.  The rest…you’ll have to wait for the gallery. 😉

Enjoy!

Miss *E* ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

It’s amazing how fast a year and a half can go by…and how much a little one can change in that amount of time.

The S family came to me just under 2 years ago for Miss E’s newborn session and she was just as sweet as could be.  And I was so bummed to hear when they were moving to Vermont last year but of course, I was happy for them since they were starting a new job & chapter in their life. 😉

We’ve kept in touch and I’ve loved seeing how Miss E’s been growing up since I last saw her.  But I was thrilled when I heard they were coming back to Rhode Island and wanted another photo session.  I headed to Coventry this past weekend to a picture perfect backyard that is every photographer’s dream to photograph in.  A koi pond, a vineyard, vintage props, gorgeous flower beds, swings, tree houses, everything you could imagine.  This is every child’s perfect childhood to grow up in.  To explore every inch of the yard of every minute in the day.  I had a BLAST running after Miss E.

Melissa & Cliff, it was so awesome to see you again!  Here are a few of my many favorites from this weekend.  Enjoy!

We got some great ones of Mommy, Daddy & Miss E but I’m saving those for the gallery. 😉

Even Miss E’s Vavo got in on the fun!

Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!  I’ll be in touch soon with the rest! 🙂

The *C* Family ~ Rhode Island Newborn & Wedding Photographer

I have been waiting for this weekend for WEEKS!!!  I “met” Alexa online a little over five years ago on a “Mommy” forum and she is a photographer as well in Maine (http://alexacarpenterphotography.dphoto.com/#).  We’ve kept in close contact since moving away from that forum and I was thrilled when she emailed me on Facebook that she wanted to travel from Maine to Rhode Island for a family session.

It was great to finally meet her two boys as well as her husband, as I feel like I’ve watched her two boys grow up the last 5 years or so.  I knew they would hit it off with our boys as well.  So they came yesterday and did we have a blast!  They came to our house for a while, swam in the pool, played in costumes, fought with swords and then we went to a local place for their photos.

To the *C* Family, thank you SO much for making the trip down here and for spending the day with my family.  We loved having you and we cannot wait to see you all again!  My boys can’t stop talking about the fun they had with their new friends. 😉

I haven’t gone through all the photos yet, but here are a few that I loved.  Enjoy!

My 2 oldest boys and the *C* boys 🙂
