Here’s just a super quick sneak peek of my bride & groom yesterday. What a fun & laid back couple they were. Wait until you see some of the photos from their day! ♥ More to come in just a day or two! 😉

For all you Mommas out there…any time you are thinking of having newborn photos taken, word to the wise: NEVER say to the photographer that your lil’ one sleeps all the time so there won’t be any problems getting the sleepy poses. HAHAHA 😉 Because if you do, you’re sure to jinx it! Every time. And this was the case for this lil’ one.
Meet Miss *E*. This little one is a fighter for sure. Born 2 months premature as she was set to arrive on July 4th. But she’s finally home and doing well. Miss *E* will be coming into the studio again in hope to get some of those sleepy poses and hey, who are we kidding, I want to snuggle with her more. After all, she is my beautiful niece! 🙂
And I do want to do this if she’s sleeping but had to snag it just in case….her Daddy (my brother), works for Coca Cola…
The other day, while our boys were playing with our neighbors grandkids, I was told that there were baby birds on their front door. So of course, I had to ask for the opportunity to photograph them! So I grabbed my camera, step stool and peek inside their door wreath. Inside, were 3 robin red-breast babies. They would try to keep their eyes closed and huddle together any time I poked my head up to photograph them so I grabbed a few pics and let them be.
The kids got such a kick outta them! Here are a few:
With our oldest son’s 7th birthday coming up this weekend, I wanted to try a recipe that I’ve been eyeing for many months. I finally decided to test it out tonight and overall, it came out pretty darn good. Wish I could say that I came up with the recipe myself but no…I followed the Betty Crocker recipe for it but rather than putting the cones upside down, I just put the batter inside the cone and stood the cone inside of a cupcake pan to keep them flat. The cones were a little chewy but not bad (it’s like that texture when it gets moist with ice cream so it wasn’t bad at all). 😉
They definitely were a hit with my boys so I’ll be making a TON of them for the kiddos this coming weekend but with some added decorations to them. I have a lot of work ahead of me….me and my bright ideas….hahaha! 🙂
This past weekend, I photographed Britney & Adam’s engagement session. This couple is as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. We had the most beautiful day for the session and they even brought their dog with them for a few photos. What makes it even better, is the dog’s name is……Winnie Cooper. AH! I love it! Britney & Adam are actually high school sweethearts (I love that!) and it turns out, the park where we took the photos, is where they had their prom! How awesome is that?! I think that makes it even more special for these photos…
Britney & Adam are such a blast to work with, willing to try almost anything and so carefree….I love it! I simply cannot wait for their wedding in August! We are going to have an amazing time and just hearing about the details of the wedding already, it’s going to be breath-takingly gorgeous! 😉
Adam, it was great to meet your parents and I’m so glad they came along and watched Winnie for us. I hope they enjoyed the time as well.
It was so hard to choose my favorites from this session so I’m going to share a bunch with all of you. Britney & Adam, I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of the session but until then, enjoy the sneak peek!
