Siblings are forever friends….

have known Shayne ever since I was little….as his parents were (and still are) great friends of my parents.  Shayne and one of my older brothers, used to get together growing up….I’m sure I can’t imagine the “adventures” they went on. LOL  Some things might be better left unsaid. HAHA

But it was awesome to meet up with him again a few years ago when he was married and had their first child, a daughter.  Then only 9 days ago….they had a 2nd child, a son.  What a beautiful family they are…

Cindy & Shayne, it was great to see you again and meet your lil’ man.  And of course, to see Miss *G*.  My boys LOVED playing with her once she was done with her photos. 😉  They had such a blast!  So here is a sneak peek of your photos.  Feel free to tag anyone you’d like in this note or photos.  Enjoy!!

Update on Tyler & His New Shoes…

I cannot believe that this past Monday, Tyler (our 3rd son) turned 5 months old.  How crazy is that?!  It seems like it was only yesterday that I was pregnant with him, going through the whirlwind of chaos which ultimately in the end, gave us a happy, healthy, beautiful boy.

Many of you already know the journey but if you don’t, feel free to read it here: https://www.teresasweetphotography.com/blog/?p=1672  But since many of you already know what he’s been through, he’s doing AMAZING!  He had surgery to release the heel cords in both feet at the beginning of Feb and just got the casts off from that surgery at the beginning of March.  His feet look amazing and he now has his first pair of shoes (he was born with clubbed feet).

Here is Ty, just a couple of days after he was born:

Operation: Love ReUnited

As many of you know, I am a wife of a former Marine.  With that being said, I hold any military member and their families, VERY close to my heart.  I have the utmost respect for what their entire families sacrifice for all of us on a daily basis.  With service members being station all across the world, some with safe jobs and some with the most dangerous jobs you could NEVER want to imagine.  And their loved ones, who support their families, their wives, husbands and children while their loved one is serving our country. are making an amazing commitment as well.

I am a member of the organization called Operation: Love Reunited which is made up of professional photographers who provide the military families with portrait sessions (predeployment, while they are deployed and homecoming sessions).  Today…I had the honor of photographing such a wonderful and loving family.  The father has served in the United States Army for 16 years and in about 2 weeks, he’ll be deployed for the 5th time overseas.

To the *M* Family, it truly was a blessing and a honor to meet you and photograph your family.   It warms my heart that I was the first professional photographer to take your family photos and I cannot wait until your return in a year to provide you with homecoming photos!  Until then, be loving and stay safe!!  xxoo

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Whether you are sharing today with your signigicant other, child(ren), family or friends…..Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!!

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had the chance to get all THREE of our boys together for Valentine portraits but I hope to do so this week.  But here’s a fave of mine of our two older boys from last year’s Valentine’s Day.  Then a few photos of our 4 month old, Tyler.

Gotta love the dimples on his elbow 😉

Mr. *C*…10 Days Old.

Mr. *C* came into the studio today with his parents…quiet as can be.  Only 10 days old, I swear he was the tiniest lil’ man.  I love this newborn stage and treasure each time that I am blessed to photograph the little ones for parents.

Mr. *C* was a photographer’s dream…content almost the entire session, so laid back…as long as I kept him warm and didn’t try to “mold” him too much, he was happy as can be!  Jamie & Pam, thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your handsome, lil’ guy.

I’m putting a few more than normal for my preview for you, as I had a hard time choosing my favorites.  I’ll be in touch in about a week or so with the entire session.  Please feel free to share this blog entry with your friends & family!  I’d love to hear from all of you!  Enjoy!!
